Get Set For Upcoming Movies in 2012

Get your popcorn ready! There’s a whole load of awesome movies coming up for us to enjoy.
We’ve already seen a lot of hits this year but they’re not going to stop! Among the most awaited Upcoming Movies are ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance’.

It’s no surprise that these two films are on the list. After the smashing success of the previous instalments, the audience have been all but crying out to watch the next parts of the movies.


Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance’. Still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter and hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe, he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever. Of course, we don’t want him to be rid of his curse, because that would put an end to the movie sequels!

On the other side we have batman returning in another movie as the unlikely vigilante after a 10 year absence. Having taken the blame for Harvey Dent’s crimes to protect his reputation, he had to flee Gotham to escape the City Police Department. He return only to find Gotham has fallen into the hands of the villain Bane. Unfortunately, this is going to be the final chapter in the Christopher Nolan’s batman film series and that really does make out hearts wrench.

So keep a watch out for these upcoming movies and many more Film this year.

Upcoming Movies 2012

There is a lot happening in the entertainment world this year. It’s turning out to be a rather productive year especially for the Cinema industry.

The latest movies are hitting the box office in a big way courtesy all the well planned marketing and promotions. We have already seen some very big hits only one month into the year including Agneepath grossing over 140cr in just a week.

The Hollywood Market also seems to be picking up. And why not, the Graphics and the cinematography is getting better and better as we can see from the latest movies! Arthur Christmas, The Descendants, Haywire, Chronicle; that’s a lot of hits for one month!

We’ve got a bigger feast lined up for us in the upcoming movies section. Shakun Batra’s Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu and Ashwini Chaudhary’s Jodi Breakers are much awaited, as is Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani. But that’s not all on the upcoming movies’ list. We’ve got a lot to look forward to from Hollywood too. The Woman in Black, Ghost Rider 2, Men in Black 3, The Dark Knight Rises, are just a few of the big awaited upcoming films.

There’s a lot of buzz and anticipation for these movies to hit the cinema screens.

All in all we can say that 2012 is going to be one hell of a year for the latest movies and Upcoming Movies. There’s going to do be a lot to look forward to so buckle up and keep your weekend free for the feast.

Jannat 2 - Emraan Hashmi Will Soon be Back on The Big Screen

Emraan Hashmi will soon be back on the big screen. Kunal Deshmukh is bringing back the 2008 hit Jannat in a sequel, Jannat 2.

The Jannat 2 Movie starring Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda, Esha Gupta and Imran Zahid is all about the match fixing scandals that took place in Pakistan.

There were a few hiccups during the shoot of Jannat 2 movie. While shooting in the Chandni Chowk area, people started arriving in hoards to see Emraan Hashmi and caused stampedes, making it difficult for the crew to continue with the shoot. Some parts of the movie were also shot in the Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro.

Actress Esha Gupta will be playing Emraan Hashmi’s leading lady. Although Prachi Desai was signed on for the role at first, Kunal Deshmukh thought Esha would be more comfortable and better suited for the role of a bold and sensual woman.

The shooting has been wrapped up and the film it’s going to hit the screens on 27th April 2012. The first look and Jannat 2 trailer were released only recently and by their looks, the film seems to have a good story. We should expect more promotional videos soon enough.

There was some talk earlier about a one of the Jannat 2 Songs having been leaked but everyone in the crew denied that. The songs are yet to be release and the anticipation is mounting. We’ll just keep our fingers crossed and hope that the Jannat 2 songs are released officially very soon.

Housefull 2 is an Upcoming Bollywood Comedy Film

After the commendable success of Sajid Khan’s Housefull, he’s bringing us another treat, a sequel to the film. And again, this one will be loaded with big star cast.

The Housefull 2 cast  will once again include Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor. In addition, the sequel will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham, Asin Thottumkal, Zarine Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Shazahn Padamsee and Mithun Chakraborty.

This isn't the end of it! There are still rumours flying about more additions to the star list! We may see Mahendra Singh Dhoni  on the screen too. Just the Housefull 2 cast is enough to make it a big hit.

But that is not all that is going to make Housefull 2 a big bang on the box office! Sajid Khan promises some killer action sequences in the movie and he’s teamed up with the action director of Rambo, Kawee Sirikhanaerut to choreograph the action scenes. Sajid says that he’s bringing back the retro style of Bollywood action scenes, where the hero could fight off an army of villians.

Housefull 2 Songs are quite a buzz of the town too. Malaika Arora Khan and Karishma Kapoor are getting together to perform an item song. Now that’s something everyone will want to watch!

Housefull 2 release date was earlier expected to be 1st June 2012 but on 30th September the official release date was announced for the 5th of April 2012. Much earlier than we had anticipated.

Jodi Breakers: Story About Being Single

Jodi Breakers is anticipated to be a fun filled movie with crisp storyline and rib tickling comedy. The shooting of this movie is complete and is going through its promotional phase. Prasar Visions Pvt. Ltd. has produced it under its own banner. The director of this movie is Ashwini Chaudhary, who brings in a new concept to the viewers. Talking about the star cast, the most prominent actors are R. Madhavan as “Sid”, Bipasha Basu as “Sonali”, Omi Vaidya, Milind Soman, Dipanita Sharma, Mrinalini Sharma and other supporting actors. Salim-Sulaiman has composed the music and lyrics were penned by Irshad Kamil. This movie is slated to be released in February 2012. This movie was titled as “Shaadi fast forward” but the producers insisted on changing it and renamed it as “Jodi Breakers”.

The plot of this movie revolves around bachelorhood and being single. One of its songs has been shot in the view of celebrating single-hood of R. Madhavan after break up. This song is already rocking the charts. The concept of break up has been associated with remorse and heart break, but the director narrates it with a comic touch. The sequences have been shot at different exuberant locations for joyful and frivolous portray of bachelorhood. We will watch R. Madhavan aka “Maddy” once again after “Tanu Weds Manu” which was a successful flick. Owing to the success of his last venture, the Jodi Breakers Movie Reviews are expected to be good. Agneepath- The Line of Fire

Bollywood has been creating marvellous films which are based on the works of fiction and nonfiction. The famous dialogue of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan where he gives his and his family’s introduction reminds all of us of Agneepath movie which was produced in the year 1990. The movie was a big hit and performed well at the box office. This movie won various national awards.

In this era of remake and sequels now get ready to enjoy a remake of this crime based film, Agneepath. The remake of this movie is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan where as Priyanka Chopra has been casted as Kaali Gawde. This movie is directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. First look of Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Deenanath Chauhan was revealed on July 5, 2011. Music of the film is liked by the audiences and the item number “Chikni Chameli” featuring Katrina Kaif can attract large audiences to the theatres. Plot of the movie is character driven and revolves around the life of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan (Hritik Roshan) whose life takes an unimaginable turn when an evil drug lord, Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death. Vijay then decides to take revenge with Kancha Cheena.

Shanghai movie: Thriller with a Romantic Touch

Shanghai movie is an ideal blend of thriller and romance. The movie is directed by Dibaker Banerjee. He decided to make a movie with a different genre after giving big hits like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye and Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. The movie is based on the life of the politicians and their greed. This Movie is shot entirely in Maharashtra.

Shanghai Movie stars actors like Emraan Hashmi as Oberoi, Abhay Deol, Prosenjit Chatterjee as Dr. Ahmadi, Pitobash Tripathy, Farooq Sheikh and Kalki Koechlin . Abhay Deol will be seen in the lead role and is expected to do justice to the assigned role as per his capabilities.

New Movies in 2012

The world might be ending in 2012 but the movie industry is certainly not letting their spirits down. There’s a long list of decent New Movies and an even longer list of good ones coming up, and most of these are movies you just can’t miss!

Arthur Christmas and Blitz have already made it big and Heartbreaker has done a decent job. Now the ones we’re waiting for are Underworld 4: Awakening, J. Edgar, Moneyball, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 3D, Wrath of the Titans 3D, Dark Shadows, Men in Black 3, Rock of Ages, Jack the Giant Killer, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises. This year is certainly going to be a big one for movies!

Bollywood is not far behind. Although Sadda Adda, Chaalis Chauraasi and Ghost did not do very well in the box office, we’ve got some better ones to look forward to. We’ve got Agneepath, Shanghai, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai, Jodi Breakers (which is essentially a remake of Heartbreaker), Kahaani, Kya Kool Hai Hum 2, Housefull 2, Jannat 2, Teri Meri Kahaani, Tezz, Krrish 2, Talaash, 3 Bachelors, Two States, Knight And Day – Remake, Once Upon A Time Mumbaai 2, Jism 2 and Dhoom 3… Now that’s one long list!

We’re hearing some good things about the songs and lyrics too. Most of the Bollywood Movies feature an item number and the Hollywood movie tracks have always been quite epic, so there will be no surprises there.

So people, go to the theatres then download movies, and keep them safe in your hard drives… these are the ones you’ll want to watch again and again!

Housefull 2: Comedy of Blunders

Sajid Khan’s one of the hit movies, Housefull was the ultimate package of pure entertainment. So the success of the film kindled the initiative in him to direct the sequel part once again. That is why, this year people will be amazed by Housefull 2. The movie is still in its pre production stage and planned to get released on 2 April 2012. In this Housefull 2 Movie, the star cast has a bit difference than the previous one. Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Chunky Pandey will perform in it like earlier.

Along with them Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Boman Irani will also be seen in other important characters. Jacqueline Fernandez is assigned in the opposite role to John Abraham and Zarine Khan will pair with Ritesh Deshmukh. Akshay Kumar will be smitten with Asin instead of Deepika Padukone, this time. There is also an exclusive item song having Malaika Arora Khan in it as the centre of attraction. Shankar Ehsaan Loy is in charge of its music direction as well.

The Housefull 2 movie ratings are therefore expected to be of high standard with appreciation indeed. The story is poles apart than the previous one and will depict a comic version of James Bond. Is movie Piracy Really a Matter of Concern?

I come across a lot of ads and warning these days about movie piracy. I’m sure you’ve seen the warnings on videos too. So is piracy really affecting the gross income of the movie industry? The obvious answer would be yes. Now-a-days most of the Hindi Movies are uploaded online in a matter of days of the release date and pirated CDs are sold almost everywhere. One can easily stream online movies. YouTube has the videos uploaded in a matter of hours. Even the production houses put up clips of the movies themselves and sometimes, even release online movies. This means that no one need to troubled themselves with taking out time to go to a theatre and watch the movies when they can just watch them from the comfort of their homes.

But I beg to differ. I don’t think that people have lost the interest in the big screen. After all, who would like to miss the fun of watching a movie on the first day of its release and then telling their friends on Facebook about how awesome it was! People still feel the thrill of pre-booking their movie tickets or waiting in line praying that the show is not full house. But of course, with Hindi Movies I feel that it has to be worth the effort. If people are not taking the pains to go to the theatre and are rather watching the movie online then the industry has to give a long and hard thought about where they are going wrong.

Kahaani: Journey of a Woman

Vidya Balan is all set to fire the big screen with her upcoming movie- Kahaani. This Bollywood flick is directed by Sujoy Ghosh who said that he has written this script while keeping Vidya in mind. After the success of ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and her silky hit ‘The Dirty Picture’, Vidya is again going to rock the silver screen with her powerful performance. Kahaani Movie is all about a pregnant woman played by Vidya herself who is in the search of her missing husband. It’s an emotional journey of a woman who faces too many difficulties and troubles while searching her missing husband. This Bollywood drama is produced by Sujoy Ghosh and Kushal Gada and is to release under the banner of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The music of this flick is composed by dynamic duo Vishal-Shekhar. The movie is shot in the streets of Kolkata with the real crowed present there. Audience will surely want to see Vidya’s new Avtaar in ‘Kahaani’ movie after her no-holds-barred silk show in ‘The Dirty Picture’.
